Migration Review 1999 by the Federal Commissioner for Foreigners

The first available migration report for Germany deals with the migration flows of the 1990s, in particular those of 1997 and 1998. For this purpose migration was analysed according to its quantitative proportions, its age and gender structures and the structure of the countries of destination and origin. In addition to this the individual types of migration are described in their magnitudes. The report is supplemented by a European comparison.
